Brad Wolfe serves as Teton County Commissioner for District 1 in Idaho, sworn in on January 13, 2024, and currently chairs the Board of County Commissioners. Originally from Ukiah, California, he moved to Victor, Idaho, in 2019 after settling in Idaho in 2006. A seasoned entrepreneur, Wolfe took over his father’s electrical contracting business in 1975, expanding it into lighting stores across Northern California, and later operated Wolfe Lighting in Rexburg and Wolfe Electric in Chico, California.

With a strong commitment to civic leadership, he served eight years as a Rexburg City Councilman, working with the Planning and Zoning Committee and acting as a liaison for the Police Department. Wolfe also contributed 14 years to the Chamber of Commerce Board, including a term as president, and served on the Madison Hospital Board. As a commissioner, he promotes a business-like approach to governance, focusing on fiscal responsibility, transparency, and sustainable growth while prioritizing safety, environmental stewardship, and economic prosperity for Teton County.

Dan Powers serves as a Teton County Commissioner in Idaho, appointed by Governor Brad Little on May 12, 2025, to succeed Commissioner Michael Whitfield, and sworn in on May 15, 2025. A long-time Driggs, Idaho, resident, Powers brings a wealth of public service experience, having served as mayor of Driggs, as well as on the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council.

During his mayoral tenure, he led transformative projects, including redrafting the city’s zoning code, redesigning Main Street, reconstructing the Geotourism Center and Plaza, and building the wastewater treatment plant. As a commissioner, Powers focuses on balancing growth and development in Teton Valley’s rural areas, addressing critical issues like the Grand Targhee Resort expansion and tight county budgets. Committed to preserving agricultural land and public access, he opposed the Driggs 160 parcel sale, aligning with over 90% of public sentiment and the county’s comprehensive plan.

Ron James, affectionately known as "Captain Ron," serves as Teton County Commissioner for District 3 in Idaho, elected in November 2024 for a four-year term. A Victor, Idaho, resident since 2008, he is a small business owner deeply rooted in the Teton Valley community. James is a father of five and grandfather of six, with family in Mississippi, Alaska, and Tennessee.

Campaigning on a commitment to public service, James prioritizes listening to residents and collaborating with diverse perspectives to address local challenges. He advocates for fiscal responsibility and transparency, pushing for changes to outdated state property tax regulations to bolster Teton County’s budget. James supports exploring revenue options like short-term rental taxes to reduce property tax burdens. His tenure has seen him engage in contentious issues, including the Driggs 160 parcel sale, where he balanced state-level decisions with strong community opposition, reflecting his aim to represent the people while navigating complex governance issues.
